Originally launched in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 broke the mold with its bold design which eventually led to the the cultural shift it represented. Although no images have surfaced, the upcoming “Varsity Red” edition is expected to pay homage to AJ1 heritage.

The pair is expected to have a striking varsity red and white colorway, a nod to the classic Chicago Bulls colors that Michael Jordan proudly wore on the court. The red overlays contrast sharply with the clean white leather base, while black accents on the Swoosh and laces add a touch of sophistication. The iconic Wings logo on the collar and the Nike Air branding on the tongue stay true to the OG design, ensuring that this release retains the authentic feel of the OG.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG WMNS “Varsity Red” will release on May 31, 2025 for $180, via SNKRS and select retailers.
